Selsey, nestling between the South Downs and the sea represents the classic English seaside resort - perfect for family holidays in the summer and cosy breaks in winter. In a 2009 poll conducted by Cottages4you Selsey was crowned best beachcombing location in the UK by Holidaymakers.

There are a wide variety of sports and activities available, such as diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, golf, cycling and bird watching. Alternatively laze on the beach or stroll along the seashore promenade and enjoy the inspirational sea views. Watch the small fleet of inshore fishing boats bringing in the famous Selsey Crab and then treat yourself to tastes of the sea at the many local restaurants, seafront cafes and waterfront pubs. Visit the Lifeboat Station and its museum to find out more about the daring rescues of the RNLI. You might even be lucky enough to see the launch of the Lifeboat. In the summer months Selsey buzzes with the sound of music and festivities with a variety of fetes, carnivals and festivals.
